If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights over the personal data we hold about you. This page explains those rights and how to use them. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which describes what we collect and why.
To fulfil your order — name, delivery and billing address, email and phone number. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
To run the store securely — session and security data, fraud prevention. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Analytics and advertising — only where you have agreed. Lawful basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change or withdraw this at any time on the cookie preferences page.
To meet legal obligations — invoices and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Email support@tapect.com from the address associated with your order, telling us which right you want to use. We respond within one month, as Art. 12(3) requires. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose your data to somebody else.
Some of our service providers operate outside the EEA. Where that is the case, transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly you can complain to your national supervisory authority. In Germany this is the data protection authority of your federal state (Landesdatenschutzbeauftragte). We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
